Game Introduction – Origin Location
On the map of Three Kingdoms Tactics, there are six origin locations, which is also called Starting Provinces. Each player must select one of them as their starting area when they first begin their journey. Different Starting Provinces are located in different locations and have their unique features. Also, you may only join the Alliances of your Starting Province during the early game, making it quite important for you to choose the right Starting Province.
Today, I will introduce these 6 Starting Provinces.
- Bashu
If you select Bashu as your Starting Province, you will obtain the attribute bonus from “Autonomy,” increasing your initial Iron Production by 300 and Food Production by 300.
As Zhuge Liang suggested to Liu Bei in their first meeting: “Yi Province is a natural fortress with fertile lands and bountiful resources.” Resources abound in Bashu, making it a nice place for you to farm and develop your City. If you are the type of player who prefers making preparations and putting yourself in an unchallengeable position, you may pick Bashu as your Starting Province.
◈ Easter Egg: Bashu has a reimagined version of the famous tourist side in reality - Jiuzhaigou. You will have to log in to the game and find it by yourself.
- Jingchu
If you select Jingchu as your Starting Province, you will obtain the attribute bonus from “Prosperous,” increasing your initial Coin Production by 100 and Wood Production by 300.
Jingchu has always been a hub of transportation both by land and by sea. It is a warm and humid place with plains, fertile soil, and plentiful water. The population is large and the commercial activities are flourishing. Players who choose Jingchu as their Starting Province can enjoy the bonus Coin Production brought by this prosperous place.
◈ Easter Egg: Jingchu has a reimagined version of the famous tourist side in reality - Zhangjiajie.
- Jiangdong
If you select Jiangdong as your Starting Province, you will obtain the attribute bonus from “People's Champ,” increasing Bow Damage by 2% and Fame by 50.
When it comes to the clans and houses of Jiangdong, people usually think of the House of Sun. The reasons why Wu was able to become a force powerful enough to stand against Wei and Shu are the natural barriers of the Yangtze and its united people. If you plan to build some archer troops, Jiangdong may be a great choice.
- Shandong
If you select Shandong as your Starting Province, you will obtain the attribute bonus from “Naturalism.” Damage taken by Shield troops will reduce by 2% and Wood Production will increase by 150.
Shandong is Confucius’s homeland, the place where Confucianism originated and thrived. Cao Cao once visited the Jieshi Mountain in Shandong and wrote a famous poetry, The Sea, to pass down for generations. Shandong has many talented people who are resilient and tough. That is why their Shield takes 2% less damage. If you want to build teams that center around Shield, you may pick Shandong as your Starting Province.
◈ Easter Egg: Other than the Jieshi Mountain, Shandong also has a reimagined version of the famous tourist side in reality – Mount Tai.
- Neibei (Hebei)
If you select Neibei as your Starting Province, you will obtain the attribute bonus from “Vast Lands,” increasing Spear Damage by 2% and Fame by 50.
Neibei was called the “Land of Yan and Zhao” in ancient times. It is where the Xia dynasty originated. Neibei was at such a unique location that wars raged all the time. Many famous heroes from the Three Kingdoms period were born here, including Zhao Yun, Zhang Fei, Liu Bei, Zhang He, Wen Chou, Gongsun Zan, and Cheng Pu. The soldiers of Neibei excel in the art of spears, having a 2% Spear Damage bonus because this province is constantly at war. If you won’t shy away from battles and are ready to build an spear army, you can choose Neibei as your Starting Province.
- Xiliang
If you select Xiliang as your Starting Province, you will obtain the attribute bonus from “Iron Steeds,” increasing Cavalry Movement Speed by 5% and Iron Production by 150.
The world-renowned Xiliang Cavalry was born in Xiliang. It was so powerful that people praised it with such a sentence, “The strong horses of Xiliang Province sweep across the land.” The traits of Xiliang soldiers focus on this part, allowing their Cavalry to march faster so the enemies will have a hard time holding their ground. If you like Cavalry, you may want to choose Xiliang as your Starting Province.
